Our Lady of the Oak 2

Roble San Bartolomeo al Mare,  Italy (1671)

On the night of April 3, 1671, after working all day in the field, Giacinto di Rollo, 50, called his wife saying   his arm was hurt. His left arm had no feeling and no  medical attention helped  him.

On April 18, putting his arm in a sling, he took his donkey to graze. A woman dressed in turquoise shining like the sun told him to trust her for help. Then  she told him  to go to the Madonna della Rovere to fulfill the vow he had made. It became known to him that  this woman was Mary.

The solemn coronation of the statue took place on  Septemberv8, 1921 in the cemetery, where he had  established a majestic altar.
