Our Lady of the Miracles
Corbetta, Italy (1555)
On the façade of San Nicolas de Corbetta was painted a beautiful picture Madonna, seated on her throne with the Child.
Legend says that on April 17, 1555 the Child Jesus left the table and went to the Plaza to play ball with three children. The Madonna, surprised by the escape of the Child, also went down to the s square, to reprimand him, as a good mother.
From that time the church became a place of pilgrimage and many miracles were documented. Thus Pope Paul IV called her Our Lady of Miracles.
The sudden healing of the deaf mute child send surprise and excitement throughout the region.
