Our Lady of Grace
Costa Folgaria, Italy (1588)
In January 1588, Our Lady appeared to a monk, Dosso Peter, asking him to build a church in that place.
For centuries, it was one of the most important Marian shrines of Trentino.
In 1955, Pope Pius XII proclaimed Our Lady of Grace of Costa, “The distinguished and principal patron of all skiers of Italy.”
