Invoking Mary under this title, Catholics recalled Mary's help against Islamic forces at Lepanto (1571) and Vienna (1683).

In 1815, after Waterloo, Pope Pius Vl instituted the feast of Mary, Help of Christians for the Papal States, recalling the date he returned to Rome after captivity under Napoleon: May 24, 1814.

Foundation Marypages

Our foundation has the objective to develop, expand and maintain the Marypages website to promote the Roman Catholic belief and especially the Devotion of Our Blessed Mother, Mary. Any extra income generated will be donated to compassionate projects with a Catholic basis. We are registered at the Chamber of Commerce Flevoland under number 39100629.

- 1 miraculous medal (with detailed description), which was designed following apparitions of Mary to Catherine Labouré in 1830 in Paris. Both are blessed.

Every donation, no matter how small, is welcome, but with a donation of € 50,- or more, we will send you, in addition to the miraculous medal, a beautiful transparent pearl or a black/blue pearl rosary from Lourdes. The choice is yours. This rosary contains a drop of holy water from the source in Lourdes (shipment of the rosary together with the medal all over the world). Both are blessed.
