Prayer and penance
The unceasing request of the Mother of God:
1846 La Salette: “If my people will not submit, I shall be forced to let the hand of my Son go. She is so heavy and oppressive that I cannot hold her up any more.”
1858 Lourdes: "Pray God for sinners. Penance; Penance; Penance!"
1871 Pontmain: - on a bandarol - “But pray, children, God will hear you shortly. My Son allows himself to be entreated”.
1917 Fatima: “Pray the Rosary daily in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary in order to obtain peace in the world and the end of war”. “Pray, pray much and sacrifice for sinners. Remember that many souls go to hell because there is no one to pray and sacrifice for them”.
1932 Beauraing: Pray, pray much; always pray; do you love My Son? do you love me? Then sacrifice yourself for me”.
1933 Banneux: “I am the Mother of the Redeemer, Mother of God. Pray a lot”.
1940 Heede: “Pray, children! Remain God-fearing and pious; pray the Rosary often”.
1945 Amsterdam: “Keep praying (the Rosary), all the world!”
1946 Pfaffenhofen: “Pray and sacrifice for the sinners; Pray the Rosary!”
1946 Espis (Fr.) “If there is enough prayer, the end of the world will not come immediately. There will be an innovation without parallel. If not, there will be strife over things of nothing, and the end of the world will come shortly.”
1947 Tre Fontane: “One must pray much; daily the Rosary for the conversion of sinners and unbelievers and for unity among Christians”.
1947 L'Ile Bouchard: "I have not come to work miracles, but to ask, to pray for France"
1955 Amsterdam: “You shall teach your children to pray again, as the Lady of All Nations teaches you to pray. Her prayer... Teach your children this prayer. Bring your children back to sacrifice; bring your peoples back to the sacrifice.”
1961 Garabandal: “Much must be sacrificed; much penance must be done.
1965 Garabandal: “You must make more sacrifices and remember the Passion of Jesus”.
