May your prayers for us
O most gracious Virgin Mary
Bring protection to us.
In memory of your suffering
Of your mercy and love
We seek your help in prayer:
In your mercy pray for us –
May God the Father
God the Son,
And God the Holy Ghost,
One God in Trinity,
Protect us and guide us –
As we think upon your love and mercy
Great example to all.
Hagia Maria
O Theotokos!
Amen.

The Angelus
In Saint Mary Magdalen’s, Oxford (Anglican) it is customary on Sundays to recite The Angelus before leaving the church. It commemorates the Incarnation, and we join our prayers with those of Blessed Mary, the Mother of God Incarnate, in whom the Church was foreshadowed.
Priest: The Angel of the Lord brought tidings unto Mary.
All: And she conceived by the Holy Ghost.
Priest: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee;
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
All: Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners now,
And at the hour of our death. Amen.
Priest: Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
All: Be it unto me according to thy word.
Priest: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee;
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
All: Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners now,
And at the hour of our death. Amen.
Priest: And the Word was made flesh.
All: And dwelt among us.
Priest: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee;
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
All: Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners now,
And at the hour of our death. Amen.
Priest: Pray for us, Holy Mother of God.
All: That we may be made worthy Of the promises of Christ.
Priest: Let us pray.
We beseech thee, O Lord, pour thy grace into our hearts, that as we have known the incarnation of thy Son Jesus Christ by the message of an angel, so by his cross and passion we may be brought unto the glory of his resurrection; through Christ our Lord.
All: Amen
Note:
These prayers are for unity between all Christians of all traditions. Love and respect for Mary, and love also for those to whom she is so important. Love and forgiveness between Christians, and love for God through Christ Jesus is more important than anything else.
